Special Funds

RiverCenter for the Performing Arts is a diverse institution that serves communities throughout our region, with programs presented both in our venue and outside in the community. The yearly support that we receive from patrons like you helps us present great performing arts programming, but there are many other opportunities to support us. From the special funds that you can regularly support to one-time needs, you have a unique opportunity to provide extraordinary support to an extraordinary organization.

From time to time RiverCenter will share special, one-time funding opportunities on this site. For more information on these or any special support opportunities please contact the Development Department at development@rivercenter.org or  706.256.3653. Some of the opportunities regularly available include:

ArtsReach

RiverCenter is proud to provide outstanding education and outreach programs for the community. Thousands of students each year attend Discovery Series performances that excite and expose students and families to the performing arts. Beginning in the 2018-19 season, this series will also feature Sensory Friendly performances of select programs. In addition, students from the entire region also have the opportunity for their school to participate in the WestRock On the Road Series, which brings top teaching artists and programs directly into the schools. RiverCenter’s outreach programs range from programs at RiverCenter or outside in the community. They include workshops at local recreation centers for seniors or children to free lectures and special events at RiverCenter. To donate to ArtsReach, please contact development@rivercenter.org or  706.256.3653.

Gift of the Performing Arts

A Gift of the Performing Arts provides a way for donors to honor someone on their birthday, wedding, anniversary, birth of a child or grandchild, or for any other special occasion. Gift of the Performing Arts may also be used to make memorial gifts. Prompt notification of the gift is sent to those being honored or the next of kin in the case of a memorial gift. To make a honorary or memorial gifts, please contact development@rivercenter.org or  706.256.3653.
