All of our theatres are available for rental and have welcomed a wide range of events, from nationally touring live performances and orchestral concerts to local dance recitals and community theater productions. Elegant dinners have been set on our performance stages, creating unforgettable experiences in a beautiful theatrical setting. Corporate presentations, conferences, and lectures are also regularly hosted in our spaces, while internationally acclaimed artists have used our venues for live broadcasts and audio recordings.

Rental Procedures
Availability
RiverCenter’s calendar year runs from July 1 through June 30. Applications for third-party events for the upcoming season are accepted beginning April 1.
Inquiry
Once a target event date is identified, contact RiverCenter’s associate executive director Jim Rutland to check availability on RiverCenter’s calendar. Dates are discussed only for specific artists or events. Three references from venues similar to RiverCenter are required.
Date Hold
If space is available, RiverCenter will place a hold on the requested date that will be valid for 10 business days.
Advance Deposit
To confirm an event, a non-refundable deposit is required: $2,500 for the Heard Theatre, $1,500 for Legacy Hall, and $500 for the Studio Theatre.
Contract Issuance
After the deposit is received, RiverCenter will issue a rental agreement. The producing organization must return signed copies within 10 business days.
Payment
For ticketed events final costs will be deducted from box office funds. Any remaining ticket revenue will be paid to the renter. Payment of all estimated costs will be due 10 business days prior to an event if box office revenue is not sufficient to cover the event’s estimated expenses.
For non-ticketed events RiverCenter may require additional advance deposits and all estimated expenses must be paid 10 business days prior to the event’s load in.
