Ticket Policies

Box Office Hours

The box office is open Monday-Friday, 10AM-5:30 PM, by phone at 706-256-3612, or by email at boxoffice@rivercenter.org. The box office opens two hours prior to performances.

Forms of Payment

RiverCenter accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Cash is accepted, and checks are accepted for subscriptions and matinee groups.

Subscription Tickets

Subscription tickets for RiverCenter concerts and events may be purchased in person at our box office at 900 Broadway, by telephone at 706-256-3612 or by downloading the order form from our website and mailing to P.O. Box 2425, Columbus, GA 31902 or emailing to box office@rivercenter.org.

Single Tickets

Single tickets may be purchased through our box office without convenience fees or online with convenience fees. Please note that the only way to purchase authorized tickets for RiverCenter concerts and events are through the RiverCenter box office and online at rivercenter.org through our contracted ticketing vendor, Tickets.com.

Beware of unscrupulous online vendors – tickets purchased through these sites are not valid and will not be recognized for admission.

Refunds & Exchanges

Tickets purchased for concerts and events are non-refundable. If a ticketed event is cancelled, the RiverCenter box office will contact you to arrange a refund of your ticket. Convenience fees for online ticket sales from our official vendor Tickets.com are not refundable, even in the event of a cancellation. 

For Broadway Series shows where there are two performances scheduled, season subscribers may exchange their ticket for the alternate performance with 48 hours notice.

Ticketing Requirements

EVERYONE attending a ticketed event, including all children regardless of age, must have a ticket. This is required to comply with fire codes and to ensure the safety of all our patrons.

Age Requirements

Not all performances are appropriate for all ages. Please be sure to read information contained in the Age Restriction drop down menu on the individual event pages prior to purchasing your tickets.

Seating Times

Our lobby opens two hours prior to events and seating begins approximately thirty minutes before curtain.

Latecomers

At the discretion of management and in compliance with the artists’ contractual agreement, latecomers will be seated at appropriate intervals during events.

Can I take a tour of the center?

Tours of RiverCenter for the Performing Arts are available with advanced notice.

During this tour, volunteer guides will describe what led to the creation of RiverCenter, facts about the construction of the facility and point out areas of interest. Guests will be given a tour of the Studio Theatre, Legacy Hall and Bill Heard Theatre, based on availability of these theatres.

Can I host an event at the RiverCenter?

All of our venues are available to rent and have hosted a variety of events ranging from live performances with national touring companies and orchestral concerts, to local dance productions and community theater groups.

Elegant dinners have been held on our stages and on multiple levels of our Grand Lobby.

Amaze your guests with the dramatics of our theatrical environment.

When should I arrive for the show?

Please arrive to the RiverCenter at least 30 minutes before showtime.

Where is the best place to park?

STREET PARKING
On-street parking is available on 9th and 10th Streets, with handicap spaces on Broadway in front of RiverCenter

RIVERCENTER PARKING GARAGE
The RiverCenter Parking Garage is open 24 hours a day. Parking is free to the public with the exception of the marked and reserved spaces. Violators parking in marked and reserved spaces will be ticketed.

THE RIVERCENTER PARKING GARAGE IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CITY OF COLUMBUS.
NEITHER RIVERCENTER NOR THE CITY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT, LOSS, DAMAGE OF PROPERTY OR ANY INCIDENTS WITHIN THE GARAGE; PARK AT YOU OWN RISK.
