Up to 20 YOGC students can register per session. Musicians may only register for one session in order to allow as many people to participate as possible. All participants must bring their own instrument, accessories, mask, water, and picnic lunch or snack.
YOGC will not have any instruments, chin rests, shoulder rests, rosin, rock stops, bows, strings, neck straps, chairs, food, water, or any other playing accessories available. YOGC will have hand sanitizer available for use if needed.
By registering for this event, everyone in your household agrees to abide by all safety guidelines and instructions from all YOGC staff, board members, and volunteers. If the warning is not heeded, then those still not in compliance will be asked to leave the event.
YOGC is an inclusive, welcoming place for any and all young musicians to gather, make music together, and form positive friendships. In order to create a supportive environment that respects everyone equally, we appreciate your adherence to the following policies:
All musicians and audience members must adhere to all YOGC policies. Those in violation will be warned once and then asked to leave if they do not comply. Everyone is expected to treat everyone else with respect and dignity. No act, whether verbal, non-verbal, or physical, of aggression, discrimination, or harassment is acceptable.
In addition to stated anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and code of conduct policies, musicians and audience members must adhere to all stated safety guidelines, which are:
- Everyone must wear a mask unless playing a wind instrument or eating/drinking
- No one from separate households may be within six feet of each other
- No one may touch any items belonging to someone from a different household
Thank you for being the example we want to set for our community’s children.
