MCoE Holiday Concert

Fort Benning’s Maneuver Center of Excellence Band brings its annual holiday concert to the RiverCenter stage for two nights of socially-distanced Christmas cheer! This is a free event, but you must have a ticket.

Please note that the process to get your ticket is different from previous years, so please read the instructions below.

The RiverCenter box office is only open during select hours. Please call 706-256-3612 or email boxoffice@rivercenter.org to reserve your tickets.

Tickets for the MCoE Band concerts will be available for pick-up prior to the performances at the following times:

  • Monday-Thursday, November 30-December 3, from noon until 7:00 PM
  • Friday, December 4, from noon until 5:00 PM
  • Saturday December 5, beginning at 5:00 PM

 You do not need to schedule a time to pick up your tickets during these times, BUT you must have previously requested tickets and received confirmation of availability from our box office.

Performance Nights:

  • PLEASE REMEMBER THAT MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE ENTERING RIVERCENTER AND MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN INSIDE THE BUILDING
  • Seating for the concerts will begin at 6:00 PM.
  • There will be no late seating, so please arrive no later than 7:15PM to guarantee entry.
  • Please follow signs and the directions of our ushers to be sure that you are using the correct building entrance.
  • You will be seated with your party and socially distanced from other groups. We will not be able to “save” seats for missing party members, so please plan accordingly.
  • Once you have been seated by our staff please remain in your seat for the duration of the performance except to visit the restrooms. 
  • Stay in your seats when the concert is over until your row is dismissed. There will be ABSOLUTELY NO LOITERING IN THE LOBBY AREA

PARKING

Free parking is available in the RiverCenter Parking Garage which is located directly across the street from the RiverCenter on Broadway. The parking garage has a total of 685 spaces with 13 handicap accessible spaces. Additional street parking is available around the block of the RiverCenter. There are 8 handicap accessible spaces on Broadway and a total of 62 parking spaces around the RiverCenter.

ACCESSIBILITY

RiverCenter is fully ADA compliant. If you have special needs or need wheelchair accessible seating, please contact the box office to reserve seating and assistance in advance.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES & CAMERA POLICY

The photographing or sound recording of any Hall-sponsored performance, or the possession of any such photographic or recording equipment inside this theater, without prior permission, is prohibited.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

All ages welcome.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I take a tour of the center?

Tours of RiverCenter for the Performing Arts are available with advanced notice.
Two weeks notice is preferred and tours are generally booked for Wednesday mornings at 10:00AM.

During this tour, volunteer guides will describe what led to the creation of RiverCenter, facts about the construction of the facility and point out areas of interest. Guests will be given a tour of the Studio Theatre, Legacy Hall and Bill Heard Theatre, based on availability of these theatres.

Can I host an event at the RiverCenter?

All of our venues are available to rent and have hosted a variety of events ranging from live performances with national touring companies and orchestral concerts, to local dance productions and community theater groups.

Elegant dinners have been held on our stages and on multiple levels of our Grand Lobby.

Amaze your guests with the dramatics of our theatrical environment.

When should I arrive for the show?

Please arrive to the RiverCenter at least 30 minutes before showtime.

Where is the best place to park?

STREET PARKING
On-street parking is available on 9th and 10th Streets, with handicap spaces on Broadway in front of RiverCenter

RIVERCENTER PARKING GARAGE
The RiverCenter Parking Garage is open 24 hours a day. Parking is free to the public with the exception of the marked and reserved spaces. Violators parking in marked and reserved spaces will be ticketed.

THE RIVERCENTER PARKING GARAGE IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CITY OF COLUMBUS.
NEITHER RIVERCENTER NOR THE CITY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT, LOSS, DAMAGE OF PROPERTY OR ANY INCIDENTS WITHIN THE GARAGE; PARK AT YOU OWN RISK.
