2022 Gingerbread Village

Mark your calendars for the 2022 Gingerbread Village! 

This year’s Gingerbread Village will be open to the public Tuesday evening, November 29 through Sunday, December 18 with the following hours:
Weekdays – 10AM through 5:30 PM
Nights of Concerts – 5:30-7:30 PM

For Gingerbread Creators:

    Display Guidelines:
  • The base of each display can be no larger than 2.5 feet square and may feature multiple houses.
  • We discourage use of a kit, but if you must use one, make it your own!
  • Installation of houses will take place on Monday, November 28 from 10AM-5 PM and Tuesday, November 29 from 10AM-3PM
  • The Village will be open the evening of November 29 through December 18.
  • Houses must be picked up on Monday, Dec. 19 between 10AM and 5PM, or an alternate time arranged with staff. Houses not picked up (or an alternate pick-up time arranged with staff) will be discarded.

To register with the digital form, simply click the link above and download the form to your computer. Complete the form and “Save As” with your name as the title. Save the form and email to marketing@rivercenter.org.

Can I take a tour of the center?

Tours of RiverCenter for the Performing Arts are available with advanced notice.

During this tour, volunteer guides will describe what led to the creation of RiverCenter, facts about the construction of the facility and point out areas of interest. Guests will be given a tour of the Studio Theatre, Legacy Hall and Bill Heard Theatre, based on availability of these theatres.

How can I be added to the mailing list?

Can I host an event at the RiverCenter?

All of our venues are available to rent and have hosted a variety of events ranging from live performances with national touring companies and orchestral concerts, to local dance productions and community theater groups.

Elegant dinners have been held on our stages and on multiple levels of our Grand Lobby.

Amaze your guests with the dramatics of our theatrical environment.

When should I arrive for the show?

Please arrive to the RiverCenter at least 30 minutes before showtime.

Where is the best place to park?

STREET PARKING
On-street parking is available on 9th and 10th Streets, with handicap spaces on Broadway in front of RiverCenter

RIVERCENTER PARKING GARAGE
The RiverCenter Parking Garage is open 24 hours a day. Parking is free to the public with the exception of the marked and reserved spaces. Violators parking in marked and reserved spaces will be ticketed.

THE RIVERCENTER PARKING GARAGE IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE CITY OF COLUMBUS.
NEITHER RIVERCENTER NOR THE CITY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT, LOSS, DAMAGE OF PROPERTY OR ANY INCIDENTS WITHIN THE GARAGE; PARK AT YOU OWN RISK.
