This year RiverCenter has introduced a new ArtsReach funding program called Fueling Education. Contributions to this program will help pay the cost of transporting students to RiverCenter from schools throughout our seven-county service area. Admission charges to RiverCenter’s ArtsReach School Matinee Performances are nominal–generally $3.
So you see, we rely heavily on the generosity of donors who believe in arts education to help us fund this incredible program. By donating only $30, you can underwrite 10 scholarships for children who might not otherwise be able to attend an ArtsReach School Matinee performance.

Parents and PTOs play a part
Statistics show that students who receive arts based education score 53 points higher on verbal SATs and 37 points higher on math SATs. The arts can provide a tool for teaching to the multiple intelligences and engaging higher order thinking skills, allowing all children to learn successfully. If your child’s teacher or school isn’t involved in ArtsReach, let them know of your interest in making the performing arts a part of your child’s curriculum.
